Health Plan has been made aware of a false All Plan Letter (APL) circulating with subject line “Carving Out of Non-Core Benefits of Non-Emergency Medical and Non-Medical Transportation from Managed Care Health Plans” dated June 27, 2024. The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) has confirmed that the APL is false and should be disregarded. There are no changes to Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) and Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) benefits.
