Community Partners in Action

We appreciate all that you to do to care for our Members and the people in our community.  Your dedication during this time is important and doesn’t go unnoticed.  We will post links to grants and other resources that may provide relief or support at this time.

United Way - Curbside Donation Drive

United Way of San Joaquin County

“We believe in the power of pulling together… for each other, for our collective community. United Way immediately stepped into action in partnership with other leaders from our city and the county.  We have been at the front line of helping our homeless shelters, food banks and our allies in the nonprofit community. We believe in every human being having the support and advocacy they need during this time.” – President/CEO Kristen Birtwhistle

Emergency Food Bank

The EFB staff, volunteers, and deployed National Guard troops make a big difference each day, delivering fresh produce, meat, dairy, and groceries to many, many more clients that usual during the COVID-19 Emergency.

Stockton Strong

The Stockton Strong Coalition is a group of non-profits, faith-based organizations, businesses, and community leaders that has been coming together informally since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that communication is clear, Stocktonians have a way to access critical information, and to launch charitable initiatives when gaps exist. Among various initiatives, we are proud to have launched Nourish Stockton, a partnership between the Emergency Food Bank, DoorDash, and the Edible Schoolyard Program which to date has delivered over 10,000 lbs of fresh produce to residents who otherwise cannot access these resources.

We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers and partners for seeing the significant need in our community and for coming together (safely) to meet the needs of our neighbors.

Community Medical Centers

Community Medical Centers

“This is not a time for business as usual. Given all of the uncertainty and stress, this is a time for collaboration, caring, and innovation. The work we do at Community Medical Centers is more critical than ever. By working together, we have changed our work flows, our use of technology and our very interactions with each other and our patients. Our strength as an organization and the power that comes from our shared commitment has never been so clear.” – CEO Christine Noguera

Thank you!
